Anyone born after April 1, 1983 (regardless of size of boat), and everyone who operates a motorized pleasure craft under 4 metres in length, including PWC’s, is now required to provide proof of operator competency. The North Bay Power Squadron is offering several course options leading to obtaining your Canadian Coast Guard approved Pleasure Craft Operator’s Certificate (PCOC):

BOAT PRO

2010 SCHEDULE: Boat Pro Course :Cost $75. includes Boat Pro Manual. Additional family members $40.00 (no book) and includes exam costs

You MUST PRE-REGISTER to participate in one of our courses. Pre registering is important so that we have enough tests for everyone, and it also lets us know if there is enough interest on a particular date to take the time to conduct the course. 493-4575.

PRIVATE CLASSES

We are willing to come into your places of business or with your group (10 or more) and give training sessions and provide exams afterwards. Please contact us for more information.
